How the Lens Technology Works
TheraRead™
TheraRead™ changes spectral transmission and perceived contrast through a selected tint. Tint and intensity should be chosen around wearer comfort and, where appropriate, professional guidance.
TheraRead lenses are not intended to diagnose or treat dyslexia, a learning disorder or another visual or neurological condition. They are not a substitute for an eye examination, educational assessment or medical care. Persistent reading difficulties should be professionally evaluated.
About Visual Comfort While Reading
Research has examined coloured overlays and tinted lenses for visual comfort, but findings and individual responses vary.
TheraRead™ changes spectral transmission and perceived contrast. Response varies between wearers.
Some wearers may prefer a particular tint, but these lenses should not be expected to improve reading fluency or comprehension.
