Colour-vision differences can make some hues harder to distinguish, particularly colours that are close together in the visible spectrum.

TheraColour™ uses selective spectral filtration designed to increase perceived contrast between some colours. Results vary by wearer.

Selective Wavelength Filtering

Reduces transmission in selected parts of the visible spectrum to change perceived separation between some colours.

Contrast Enhancement Curve

Designed to increase perceived contrast in some outdoor and recreational settings. The lenses should not be relied upon for driving or safety-critical colour identification.

True-Tone Transmission

Designed to avoid excessive colour saturation while selectively changing perceived contrast. Tint and colour perception vary.

Adaptive Comfort Coatings

Available anti-reflective and UV-reducing coatings may support visual comfort. Performance depends on the selected lens option.

TheraColour lenses do not cure colour-vision deficiency or enable reliable identification of every colour. Do not rely on them for driving, traffic signals, electrical wiring, aviation or another safety-critical task. Individual results vary.

About Colour-Contrast Perception

Colour vision deficiencies occur when the eye’s photoreceptors (cones) don’t respond evenly to specific wavelengths of light.

TheraColour™ selectively alters spectral transmission to change perceived contrast between some neighbouring colours.

The filtration design targets selected overlapping wavelength bands. It cannot restore normal colour vision, and results vary between wearers.
